I am a early user of Mikrotik products, I’m managing the router Mikrotik equipped with RouterOs v6.28.
I have a problem with the configuration of L2TP/IPsec server and VPN connection. I have already activated a VPN connection over PPTP that is working well. Now I’m trying to establish a simultaneous and parallel L2TP server (to be used by Apple Mac users, who are not allowed to use PPTP) and in the last days I’ve succeed to setup the L2TP server, it was working with both Windows an Mac devices.
After two days I found out that the server was not reachable and opening the configuration page of Mikrotik I saw that the peers, proposal and other L2TP settings of the Router were disappeared (even the dynamic peer).
At the moment when I try to create new peers, proposal or other setting items in the IPsec page, the “OK”/“Create” buttons don’t work, and after few seconds if I stay in the page a message alert appears saying that a timeout occurred trying to create peer, proposal, etc.
Searching into the web, I found only discussions about connection timeouts and not in configuration commands.
Is there anyone who can help me?
