L2TP iPSEC Mikrotik to Mikrotik Problem with web UI

Hi,

I have 2 mikrotik each set on my head and branch office. Mikrotik in Head office act as VPN Server using L2TP IPSEC type. Mikrotik in branch office on the other hand act as VPN client. The VPN already connected to each other and I can ping the IP on the Head Office from the Branch Office.

Problem is when I want to access the Web UI using browser, it won’t show up. It keeps loading. But when I try to traceroute, no problem. The routing all working perfectly.

Could somebody please help me ? I’m stuck almost for months now looking for the solution but still no luck.

You can ping from router to router..correct?

Have you added routes for both Lans on your routers ? Your computer doesnt know how to reach the destination you want because your routers are missing the appropriate routes inside your routing table…

Yes, I can ping.

Yes, I’ve already add both LAN on both my routers so that they can communicate. Is there any thing I need to check again ?

maybe TCP MTU/MSS issue

Just set L2TP MRRU=1580 on both sites and reconnect the tunnel !

I dont think its an MTU issue… probably something wrong in your configuration…

I’ve tried it all but still no luck.

And now what is the current MTU with this MRRU settings ?

What are your Lan subnets in each side? Can you post the routes of both routers?
