L2TP/Ipsec work vpn

Hi,

I am having some difficulty to get this set up on my mikrotik @home, which is a RB751G-2HnD. Setting up the VPN on a Windows 7 PC behind the mikrotik is fairly straight-forward and easy to get to work, but I would like to set it up on the Mikrotik instead, which connects to the internet and does all the routing and stuff at home.

In Windows 7 the setup is fairly simple: eg:

On the Mikrotik, if I ask the work to disable the IPSec part, I can get connected to the VPN without problems, but alas they want it done with IPSec, which is the part I am not entirely sure what I am doing wrong.

This is what I have attempted to do to get it to work, but I clearly don’t understand what I am doing, and doing wrong:

Tried again after following the slides, and got it to work. I hope the script that updates the src SA ip works (dynamic WAN IP @home), though it should since it is from the wiki.

If it doesnt just let me know. I wrote the script and put it on the wiki, so we can look at it if something doesnt work and fix it :slight_smile:
