Hi all hope it is going well. I have recently setup L2TP on my Mikrotik Router rb750r2. However everything works great I get a connection between the 2 routers. But when rebooting the rb750r2 my internet connection drops and log shows “could not determine local ip address” on the PPPOE connection. Is there any reason as to why?

Definitely show the export of the configuration, and the exact row from the log regarding the “could not determine local ip address”, as it is not clear whether it is indeed related to PPPoE,and if it is, whether L2TP is relevant to that error at all. What steps do you have to take to make it work again once this happens?
I found the issue . The guide as shown earlier has been made improper. My PPPOE profile was on default and the guide uses default and makes you change the local ip on profile thus the error I had to create a new profile for vpn .
