we have an l2tp server (xl2tpd based), which has 2 IP’s, and which we use to provide some form of dsl load balancing (with cisco 891 or linux l2tp clients). This multilink PPP wordt just fine. both on client en server the individual PPP’s get bonded.
if I use a mikrotik router, with 2 DSL lines (each via PPPoE) and setup 2 ltp clients with the MRRU option enabled, it just doesn’t work.
The first session comes up just fine, the second gets initiated, on the server I see the the PPP link being added to the existing ppp interface, but the mikrotik seems to ask for IP config settings (making me believe he has not bonded the two PPP interfaces, but considers them as individual).
anybody has a clue?
