L2TP parameters from L2TP session

Hi Folks
We are using Mikrotiks to terminate L2TP sessions from VDSL and ADSL providers here in UK.

We get useful info in the rfc2661 headers from the telco TX Connect Speed and RX Connect speed during the setup : Examples:

Mar/04/2020 17:49:29 l2tp,debug,packet Rx-Connect-Speed=19999000
Mar/04/2020 17:49:29 l2tp,debug,packet (M) Tx-Connect-Speed-BPS=76555000

It would be REALLY helpful for Mikrotik to include this in the RADIUS Connect-Info it sends out for authentication so we can keep track of sync rate on the connection. Is this an easy change? Am I the only one that would find this useful or is it a commonly required feature?

Very much so, looking for the same thing. PPP attributes get passed to RADIUS but not the AVPs from L2TP. So you can so this when terminating GEA from Openreach directly but not when going through L2TP via a wholesaler.

I assume you’re looking to build dynamic queues?
