L2tp problem

Hi ppls!

Im new here, reding your posts for a while but now i need yours help.

i have many remote locations connecting to RB1000 (3.25 OS curently on rb1000).
on each location i have rb450 connected on central rb1000 with l2tp protocol i switch from pptp few months ago to l2tp cus security advantage of l2tp. The new setup for l2tp was working just until last week. The l2tp server on rb1000 disconnect all l2tp client connection at the same time. I have also on rb1000 the few pptp servers that working fine all the time. Im monitoring that problem for a while but i didnt find any solution for that problem. The disconnection problem have not define intervals it can happen in 5min or 1 hour. Only thingy that help is reboting the rb1000 but the problem come back after one day or less.

Any suggestions ppls?

Im trying with making changes in my l2tp profile, lowering the MTU .
For now problem persist. Also i notice that sometimes some l2tp connections have a huge amount of RX packet errors

Ill try with pptp connection on one location.


Lowering the MTU seems to helping. The rx errors are dropped to zero.

Just to add to this. I lowered my MTU on the L2TP interface and that solved my problem with the RX Errors and performance too.
