I use L2TP VPN server in Mikrotik Routerboard. I can connect to it and, lets say, ping 192.168.0.240. But I can’t ping 192.168.0.68. Both addresses are assigned by the same Mikrotik’s DHCP server. I can ping both 0.68 and 0.240 directly from the LAN. Where’s the issue?
I’m terribly sorry being so dumb. It’s a firewall indeed! The difference between PCs was 0.240 using Windows embedded firewall and 0.68 using ESET. I had to add IP subnet, that is assigning to VPN clients, to ESET’s “Trusted zone” and everything started to work. Thank you for the tip, pe1chl.
