L2TP VPN | No internet after connection

Hi.
In a family hotel where I’m handling the networking, static IP was dedicated from ISP to connect from outside via L2TP VPN.
Setting L2TP VPN was no problem using a tutorial found on youtube/google.
Connection from a client (Windows) is successful and working, but after the connection, the internet stops working also using Winbox doesn’t work. It connects to RouterOS via Winbox but all the tabs are empty and keep reconnecting.

Firewall rules are added (IPSec, UDP 3 ports).

I didn’t add any extra IP address nor Route. Could that be the problem?

I’d really appreciate any help. I can post a configuration if that would help with debugging.

welcome to the forum
you provide some description thats good

always helps to provide at least a simple diagram of your network setup

and more importantly

an export of your config excluding or masking any private information

Thank you very much for offering your help.

I don’t know what happened, but apparently, leaving the things stand for a week helped solved the problem.

Now the internet connection via VPN works without problem also accesing Mikrotik via Winbox via VPN works.

Lets hope it stays that way :smiley:
