I have mikrotik 6.13. I setup configuration from page: http://www.nasa-security.net/mikrotik/mikrotik-l2tp-with-ipsec/
L2TP client> internet > modem internet > mikrotik router
In my internet modem I set DMZ to mikrotik router.
When I’m inside my local network I can connect to VPN.
When I try to connect by internet it doesn’t work.
In Ip/IPSec/Remote Peers I can see my connection, and after couple of seconds windows show me 809 error.
I have tried number of configuration (sometimes it was error 7**).
I have windows 8.1.
Can you write me what additional configuration should I set to make it work?

Now I waste couple days to try to configure it. I don’t want to waste more time.

In IP → IPSec → Peers, in the option Generate Policy, did you try to set “port override” ?
Just try and tell me if it worked please…
