LACP and DHCP Snooping Question

Hoi RouterOS Folks

This, maybe, sounds like a stupid question… i have a scenario with a CRS3xx switch and two link SFP+ LACP Bonding as uplink interfaces to another CRS3xx switch (core) where the trusted DHCP server ist located. Now i read that DHCP snooping is not possible with hardware offloading LACP bonding active? Does this only affect DHCP bonding with option 82 enabled?
I have a lab env here with DHCP snooping (w/o option 82) enabled and LACP bonding as uplink (trusted), with different CRS3xx switches as access and core and it seems like it works?!

Im a bit confused what scenarios this “DHCP snooping does not work with HW offloaded LACP bondings” are affected… maybe you can enlighten me

Firmware is v7.14.3 on every switch.

Best Greetings

From my understanding it should behave like a trusted port, just because DHCP Snooping is not “working” on this bond.

Found something in the documentation:

“Starting from RouterOS v7.17, DHCP snooping is supported with hardware offloading bonding interfaces.”

Once 7.17 is released, we should have the support for this on some devices.
