LACP not working on CSS326-24G-2S+?

Hi All,

I’ve got a CSS326-24G-2S+ and a pair of CRS317-1G-16S+RM running SwOS.. I was really liking the auto-lacp feature until i tried it on the CSS326. On the CRS317 I can see 802.3ad packets coming from the device but not on the CSS326, the CSS326 see’s lacp packets coming from the device (on the lag page I can see the partner mac’s), but never associates it to a trunk interface for some reason. This is the first time i’ve tried using lacp on the CSS326 so it wouldn’t surprise me if it never has worked but im wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

One thing I did try was setting it to static, active, passive (none seemed to make any diff)

I did test it a while ago between two CSS326-24G-2S switches and it worked. In my test, one part of the LACP was a 1Gig Ethernet connection and the other was a 1Gig fiber obviously using SFPs on both ends.

After a bit of experimenting i’m pretty sure the switch is broken in some way, the CRS317’s were sending lacp pdu’s reliably, but running 2.9 SwOS so I rolled the CSS326 back to the that version and suddenly started seeing lacp coming off them. Sounded like a version problem so I rolled forward to another version and it stopped. After rolling around various versions I eventually realised that every second flash it was switching between working and non-working.

I guess there must be something wrong with the flash on the switch.
