Wanted to know if the CRS112-8G-4S-IN switch does the LAG at switch chip level or at the RouterOS level. It is no clear to me from the description whether LAG is implemented at Hardware Switch Chip level or via Software in this switch. Asking this as I need to push around 500Mbps through this switch and want to use LAG on two SFP ports for providing redundancy in case one link goes does.
I will be using a pair of the same switches on both ends of the point to point link that we need to make.
From the Datasheet it seems that it will be able to comfortably do this if the LAG is implemented on a switch level. However need confirmation on whether the LAG is really implemented at switch level via the QCA-8511 Chip or programmed via RouterOS.
