We have two CRS317-1G-16S we have been hoping to use to speed up the backplane for some data heavy transfers. all the switches up to now have been Tplink JetStream switches.
We are using SWOS 2.18 ont he Mikrotik switches.
So, we are able to make a VLAN trunk without issue using a single fibre connection, no LAG.
We can create the LAG using LACP and active-passive with active side from TPlink. However, no matter what we try on both ends we cannot get the LAG to route the VLAN traffic even though there does appear to be activity on the connection.
This behaviour seems to suggest that th Mikrotik LAG needs to be incorporated in the VLAN rather than just the ports, just like it does on TPlink but cannot see this as supported in any way under the SWOS VLAN menus.
