RouterOS 6.27 has been setup with PPPoE and hotspot enabled on a x86 Dell server. Around 350 mbps Rx traffic is used on WAN side on average. After continuous usage for 2-3 hours with about 400 about PPPoE sessions and 50 hotspot sessions, suddenly the LAN Tx drops to 0. The below screenshot shows the interface traffic on one such instance when it happened.
Disabling and enabling both PPPoE server and hotspot server has no effect. Just before the traffic suddenly stops the CPU usage is only around 25% and about 1500 MB of memory is free. There seems to be no errors in the log apart from a few “MPLSCP timeout sending ConfReq” messages in the debug logs. Only a mikrotik reboot seems to solve the issue.
