My LAN IP pool is 192.168.1.0/24. I need to add more ip pool. How do i set up another LAN IP pool? Is it possible to set up 192.168.2.0/24? I am using license 6.30.4 on RB1100AHx2
Yes, you can but you have to check your fules if they cover IP pool 192.168.2.0.
If you use mask /24 just change it to the /23.
Of course changing the netmask from /24 to /23 on a 192.168.1.0/24 network is not possible.
It would not add the 192.168.2.0/24 network, but instead the 192.168.0.0/24 network.
In any case, you do need to change the network config not only the pool, assuming the existing pool
already uses the whole range of 192.168.1.0/24.
It is no problem on MikroTik routers to expand the network range and pool, independent of the license.
I use a /22 network myself.
Can i just add another ip pool in the same interface. Or i need to use other interface in order to add more networks?
