I am Czech user, and i have same problem as routeurspot.
I read the wiki, just i don’t know if i must to create a folder on my router ? I translated file en_EN_def.txt and i uploaded file “cz_CZ.lng” to RB600A with routeros 4.5.
then logon, with subscriber (owner permisions) or user mode, no select box appears with language selection
any ideas?

Hi gays!
I have RB433AH, routeros v4.6,try set Russian language to user manager.
I reed this http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_Manager/Languages end do it.
Upload the file ru_RU.lng using ftp to root directory RB.
But language select box no it!
Where find problem?

rtl8186, we are still waiting for access to your User Manager.
i’m using v4.6 and i have exactly same problem can someone help? same situation is when i have .lng extension only (when i saving as in Poedit i change file type on all files, and then type extension .lng in file name) also, when i log in as a user, and when i click on Settings, i get message like on picture :S:S
The problem is known and it will be fixed in the upcoming versions. (promised by Sergejs, tks for support)
