I’ve got a strange problem which I can’t seem to track down…
I upgraded one RB493 to 3.25 and accessed it with Winbox. Winbox downloaded whatever updates it needed and I could access the RB493 no problem at all.
I then used the same Winbox to access a RB450 running 3.22 and I am experiencing hangs during operation where everything is fine and then all of a sudden none of the buttons/fields/tabs/menus work at all within Winbox for several minutes. Then they start working again.
If I use the same Winbox to go back to the 3.25 RB, it all works fine. It used to work fine when accessing the 3.22 box.
If I delete the directory “C:\Documents and Settings\nick\Application Data\Mikrotik\Winbox\3.25-673526164” and access the 3.22 box, it all works fine again until I connect to the 3.25 RB, after which I have the same problems when accessing the 3.22 box.
Any ideas?
