Layer 2 or 3 QOS

im currently running version 3.30 on a routerboard 450. Ill be in La next week to support a live streaming event that will last for 4 days, 8 hours a day. They have a bonded 3 meg t-1, which works well, but has peak overloads 3 times a day. If i were to install a routerboard 450 on the lan side of the core t-1 router configured with 2 ports as a bridge, could i run some sort of QOS so that my specific IP or MAC could have priority over all other traffic during the peak overloads? And if so, how would i go about it and which QOS would work the best? Im hoping that the network is a single ethernet segment, but im not sure yet. Please Advise Matt Bochsler

Yes you can shape traffic with routerboard. You will need to mark VOIP packets and mark the rest packets and set up queue tree with priorities and limits.
Examples on how to do that can be found in wiki

Im looking for someone to set UP a QOS routine on my 450, on a bridge, layer 2/mac. This is a PAID JOB, please email me or call at 303-229-6578/matt@iesystems.cc if your interested!
