I’m wondering if there have been any reports of the LCD freezing. We’re noticing this in a box that has 2.9.17 running. From what we can determine the display works fine for a while and then freezes up when we make any configuration change however minor, and even sometimes it seems to occur when we haven’t made any changes. By ‘freezing’ I simply mean that the text on the screen is no longer updated (we have it displaying rate of transfer through a few of our uplinks).
Once the display as frozen we can unfreeze it by disabling and re-enabling the display through winbox.
I’m told that this wasn’t an issue before we upgraded from 2.9.10. Any ideas?
I was going to try upgrading to 2.9.18 (and likely will tonight) but according to the changelog there wasn’t anything to do with the LCD changed so I’m not expecting anything.
