LDF 5 ac without dish... is possible?

Hello everyone,
I would need to install a pto-pto link of about 200mt, my idea is to use two LDF 5 ac without the dish.

I preferred LDFs because they are small and for external use.

Ideas? tips? your experiences?

At 200 meters it should work. But it will be difficult to mount it.

You can get 16 dBi Antenna instead of 9 dBi in LDF for same price.

i think is better idea to use less expensive LDF 5 (without ac)

maybe you cant get AC datarates at that distance and or using 80mhz channels

but i think is a very good idea to get a short and discreet ptp using LDF without dish

for mounting you will have to make some kind of bracket but not very difficult

I was thinking about that ptp scenario and another scenario maybe adding a L4 license you can get a 5ghz a for small area sectorial 5ghz wifi, the same for LDF 2 (when it arrives)

LDF have 9dbi gain without dish

How much gain will the LDF 2 without dish will have??

For PTP it US always better to use higher gain Antenna to get max. Clean signal.


LDF has 9 dBi and SXT 16dBi, you are loosing 7 dB

That is 4 times higher signal level! For cheaper price
