I built a top map with no devices. Every site is only one map deep. I would have to obfuscate too much to show other maps but this might give you some ideas…
Edit: More notes The gigabit links are setup to show up as red when they have more than 40Mbps and I have disabled the link labels on the top map so that there is less clutter. Link labels are not modified on all submaps.
Every access point is in the wireless map so I can see how many people are connected on the device labels.
Backup links between sites are all on the bridges map so there is less clutter on the top map with no links crossing over each other.
The Voice map has all the call manager stuff.
