LGH LTE6: Slow Speeds and unstable connection

Hello. We just got an LHG LTE 6 (US version) antenna. We have been struggling with this for weeks trying to maintain a stable connection and get speeds above 200kb DN / 150kb UP. We have a fairly strong signal with our T-mobile LTE tower. We even tried an AT&T sim on their tower, and we get the same results. I also do not see the list of LTE bands under the LTE settings… How can I select Band any of my bands? Something is going on with this LTE modem/antenna and I’m getting very frustrated. We get 50x better performance out of a LPDA antenna with our MoFi (40M DN / 35M UP) off the same tower. We are ready to send this POS back to the vendor! Please help!

Here are the specs/settings:
Model: LHG LTE 6 (US Version)
Carrier: T-Mobile
Tower: LTE (Bands 2,4,12) Distance: Approx. 2.5miles
RSSI: -55db
Modem firmware version: 6.47.8

Please let me know what other information you need to help troubleshoot.
Thank you in advance. Have a great day.

Hello, we often use Mbps and you say you have 0,2/0,15Mbps. It’s probably 3G will be faster.

We have a fairly strong signal with our T-mobile LTE tower.
Please use WinBox to connect with RouterBoard/RB you have.
At lte1 you have a Cellular tab, you can hide imei etc. and post screenshot.

I also do not see the list of LTE bands under the LTE settings… How can I select Band any of my bands?

WinBox, Interface > LTE tab, here you can select lte1 intergace and in General tab you can select bands.

2,5miles is 4 kilometers
insted od RSSI show RSRP & SINR
6.47.8 is RouterOS version.
LTE module firmware is 026 now, check General tab of lte1 interface.

Please check WinBox, cellular tab, modem firmware version.

Tools > SMS, enable receiving sms. Go to Inbox and check if you not receive a sms from ISP like.. “you have limit now…”

Also, check you have the correct APN for T-Mobile: “APN: Fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices) or epc.tmobile.com (for non-LTE devices)

Hello guys,
I also have my LHG LTE6 modem. its also slower compare to phone/stock carrier modem. IM SO DISAPOINTED! AND ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!
I HAVE EXECELLENT SIGNAL GAIN. when I try to do speedtest at first 1 sec of the test it peaks to 20mbps then flat 5mbps. the upload speeds steady 10mbps.
its giving me headache/heart break because it broke my bank just to buy this product.

Some ISP like in USA give differ bands and limitation if they detect that IMEI is not phone. When you have right signals then only ISP limitation can be counter.
You should give some more information about your case to try discover why your speed is slower then phone.
Please ask ISP about proper APN when you use not phone device, maybe in your country APN must be differ, or even change of plan.
