[1] What's the free air space range at ***0.5 Mbps*** (just voice traffic) for the LHG XL 5 ax? LOS is 22.3 miles. Southwest Arkansas with horrible humidity right now.
[2] has anyone used these on public safety towers that get 110F in the summer and 20F in the winter? They will both be at ~310FT ASL and 200' on the tower. Never seen them used in public safety and I am wondering if that is for a reason.

22.3 miles = ÷36 km
so you are stretching the distance advertised "in ideal conditions" by some 20%.
On the other hand you ask for very low bandwidth.
The tested range is wide enough:
Tested ambient temperature -40°C to 70°C
As it is (roughly) to -40°F to 158 °F.
