LHG5 P2P and WPS Problem

Hello,

I have a small problem with my two LHG5. I configured one with Station and the other one as WDS-Client. I also configured the network as routed. So I have 192.168.178.0/24 on one side, 192.168.177.0/24 on the other side and 10.11.12.0/24 as network on the wireless P2P-Link.
The connection is working fine. Only problem is that the WDS-Client doesn’t get any IP-Address. Traffic is flowing fine as soon as I configure the IP on interface “wds-x” manually…

So my question: How do I get the WDS-Client to configure the IP automatically?

Why use WDS if it’s routed?

Because I have no idea… And I used the example configuration from the Wiki, which is WDS, wo I just changed it to use routing instead of bridging…

If you have any hint on how to change to non-wds please tell me… I haven’t used Wireless before, so this is my first try… And at least it’s partly working… :slight_smile:
