Hi everyone,

hope everythings going well for you. I’m network technician and discover mikrotik products soon and i have two question.

First, i want to make PTP link between two site (distance betwenn them is 16km) i want to use LGH5 antenna do you it"s working ?

then, i have a PTP link with two Sxt and one of them are down now. I’ve not another Sxt on stock can i replace this one by LHG5 antenna?

Help me please.

LHG should work fine for you, some more precise alignment would be needed as it has higher dBi antenna with less angle beam width

Thanks your reply. a lot 25dbi is dBi found on datasheet. How can i get this value " higher dBi antenna with less angle beam width" before deployed

you can only achieve a higher antenna gain (dBi value) by using a different antenna.
to stick with mikrotik your highest gain (also most precision required when aiming antennas) is the following:

if more is required or you have lots of wireless interference nearby consider adding this to your antenna:
