Hey all.
I picked up a pair of LHG60’s about a month ago, and have been tinkering with them since.
I think I have the alignment pretty well setup (aligned using the center sector method), but I’m having issues with the above 60ghz channels.
At 58320mhz I have a stable connection at 890 Meters. No packet loss when doing alignment checks, MCS at 8 and PHY Rate at 2.3Gbps. RSSI at about 52-53dB.
However once I go up to 64800mhz and above I start to lose MCS, Signal, and PHY Rate dramatically, with a lot of packet loss when running the alignment tool. The RSSI increases to 55-56dB.
I’d like to use the higher frequencies as I live in quite a wet area, and would like to keep a connection in the rain as best as possible for 60ghz.
I’ve done a lot of reading over the past few weeks, but I’m struggling to find out what causes interference, best use case for the different frequencies, realistic expectations etc.
Any suggestions or input would be hugely appreciated, before I give up on the above 60ghz channels, and go buy an LHG5 to run as backup
