I am placing the micro SIM card in the slot with the chip facing upwards and the device in the PIN Status field keeps showing SIM not inserted. Happened with two different SIM cards. I have already resetted the device a dozen or so times.
Could the device be broken or is it just the configuration problem?
Most probably is that the SIM slot is broken. Is knowed that MikroTik’s SIM slots are very fragile.

I wanted to check what speed different providers will get with LHGG LTE 6. There was a problem: a SIM from one provider (Yota) works and shows a speed about twice as high as that of a modem without an external antenna, and from two other providers (Beeline and MTS) it says “sim card is not inserted”. Both cards work in the tablet. The card from Beeline is specially designed for modems, not locked.
What the hell? That is, the modem is working, the card reader is also working, the SIM-cards are working in another device.
Microtik don’t like Beeline and MTS?
Are you installed the SIM card with the device without electricity?
