License and "upgradable to"

Hi,

does license level affect the version of RouterOS I can upgrade to on Mikrotik router?
Ive got for example RB750G and in winbox I can see that I can upgrade just to v.5.x.

So, how is it work when I buy new router, is there any difference between L4,5,6?

The “upgradable to” restriction has been completely removed several years ago. You can upgrade your router to any version of RouterOS that supports your hardware.
