many declare a product as freeware.
But in EULA:

  1. GRANT OF LICENSE
    If you > purchased > a base license of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT you are
    granted a non-exclusive license to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and
    accompanying Documentation according to the contents of this License

What is the “base license of the THE DUDE SOFTWARE”?
Is The Dude really free of charge for everyone or not?

I have never paid a dime for the dude and I don’t use routerOS or have any RouterBOARDS. I just come here and give free support since the program is free. I suppose that should be changed for the EULA in the dude…

we will look into this, and will update the license to be more correct. Of course - Dude is free of charge to use in any situation, commercial or not.
