I got into very problem. A local vendor supplied me Microtik RB532. He installed the software on P-4 machine also and made it a firewall.
But He never gave me the license key for same. Now when I started browsing Microtik website I came to know about the license issues and about Softwares ID and all info regarding that. PLease let me know whats the method to get info for my Router software and machine software. Whaether its a original one or has he given me demo copy i am really confused about my stuff. I paid him a huge amount for the same. Could u please tell how much it all cost in INR. Please help me out to get info about my software as i read the software is also HDD specific and if HDD goes corrupt u have to purchase again. And the vendor 5-6 times formated the HDD in front of me. I mean I am totally confuse. Please friends help me for this.

don't think about difference device, just want to you know one license for one machine. don't format it [your key sure is gone]
Tip..!!, you must selection for your hardware.
just ask: why are you need PC router, i think you already have Routerboar 532....?.. and you can build firewall on that routerboard with Mikrotik's OS.

Dear Friend thanks for helping me out. But the main thing is that i have already made payment for the Device and the software. Now how to find out that my Software is purchased one and legal and whats its ID? when i do /sy/li/print it gives:
S/W id: 7 words Number
upgardable-until: JUNE 2007
n-level:4
features: nothing written over here ?
When going to /sy/routerboard it gives:
model:532
serial No:12 digit no
current firmware:1.5
upgrade firmware:1.7
Is it possible by entering Serial No. on Microtik site can i get info of my board warranty status?
Now Dear friend tell me how to get info that whats my software upto? Is it registered or not? I really appreciate my Product all due to its features.
Help me in getting max of the product. If any person from Mictrotik support can answer i will highly appreciate the support.

yes, that status is correct you have. and how to keep that license key, do export from winbox and save on your widows application.
save your license key do like this:
open winbox---->system license---->click 'Export Key' button---->saved to your local folder [folde on local PC] and software ID you must keep too.
note: software ID and license key you must keep
again, that is correct, for 4 level and you have limit time. and will make understand about level visit this link for features available: http://www.mikrotik.com/software.php
my recommendantion:
first:
upgrade your version with latest version [now v2.9.35] but all my routers in v2.9.34[so sorry i don't have time to upgrade all for now, maybe later], as far as i remember from v2.9.28 you will have BONUS from mikrotik's OS [i mean, your system without time limit] and you will continue
second:
upgrade your current bios [RB only]
/sy routerboard upgr
press 'y' key than do reboot command for your system
