I was trying to use the upgrade license key but I keep getting the error message.
Failed to resolve http://www.mikrotik.com, check your dns settings
I went and set a primary dns and secondary dns server under IP > DNS but I still get this message.

If you issue a ping to outside ip , will it work?
And ping an address (like : walla.com)
Maybe only mikrotik is your problem?
Check your gateway address
Check that ftp can pass outside your network
Yes it does ping. Just the auto upgrade or purchase of key has problem.
