License update failing after manually reinstalling OS

Hello,

I have just re-installed the OS, it says I need to paste in a key, however I had originally updated from 3.x and it had gotten a new key.

Now it is saying “failed: invalid request received”

Please help.

Please help - I am running out of time on this unit and it is quite inaccessible to do another re-install.

I have emailed Mikrotik support about this but I have not received an answer.

Looks like your installation went wrong, and somehow got the key removed. You must email support with your current supout.rif file (generate it now). Only support can issue a new key

  1. shutting it down will stop the timer
  2. reinstalling will reset the timer

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately simply shutting the unit down is not really an option for me, I have a customer depending on this radio link. How soon should I expect a reply from support?
