I have bought license 4 with 128MB CF.
Beacuase I needed to upgrade to v3.7 and add superchannel
I just put them on my opened old comp on the table.
After upgrading and putting them into new proper devices
it’s showing popup that tell us that there is no license.
I thought that license is connected/applied to storage (CF, HD, usb etc)
Is there any possibility to move license to work with other device
without buying new next one ?
I know thats not so expensive but it’s sad to throw any money out.

you should buy the license AFTER you have tested your new PC, and after you have checked that the free demo license works without issues.
So
when I buy flash with OS ,
the Software ID is generated at first run time ?
I thought that storage’s serial number is important here.

yes, it should stay with the drive which you should be able to move from pc to pc. Normis, it sounds like routeros IS loading and that he can get into the machine but it’s simply saying he doesn’t have a license.
