Licensing Questions

I am new in Mikrotik. Just wanted to know some info. Your helps would be highly appreciated…

  • For our office use we want to buy Mikrotik router. For 100 users what router you suggest? Most of these guys will actually use emails, surf some websites.
  • Which license should we buy?
  • Mikrotik router licensees are for unlimited users?
  • License validity is 1 year or life long?
  • In Qatar Mikrotik distributor/seller available?

All Licenses:

  • never expire
    include 15-30 day free support over e-mail
    can use unlimited number of interfaces
    are for one installation each
    offer unlimited software upgrades

If you buy router from Mikrotik it already includes some license.
Usually level 4-6
Choose proper router basing on perfomance and needed features you may here - https://routerboard.com/products
For you Level 4 should be enough.
From perfomance point of view it depends on you Internet channels and usage (VPNs, routing, QoS etc).
But I think better for you choose something from CCRs… (or at least RB3011)
