Hi,
I had my box setup with Version 2.9.12, and it running with the following interface
- WAN
- Hotspot
- Private LAN
My hotspot users are authenticated thru RADIUS Server, and all user are with IP range of 10.10.10.2-250 on Hotspot interface
How can I limit the maximum upload and download speed for each hotspot users?
Hope some of the master can show me the method in command line.
Thank you.

You could just use the rate-limiting attributes in your RADIUS profile to control each users bandwidth in your RADIUS config…

Did you include the Mikrotik dictionary into your RADIUS config? You can find it somewhere on the RADIUS page of the RouterOS documentation…

I think i found the way to solve this in MK.
Just wanted to share with.
To limit or cap the max upload/download speed for each hotspot user AAA with RADIUS, we can do the following
- goto IP > HotSpot
- Servers > Profiles
- Set the Server Profiles “Rate Limit”
Then we are done!!!
easy rite?
hahahaha… MK GREAT!!! but we got to explore ourself.

Another method found.
Use the User Default Profile to control each individual Radius HotSpot User transfer speed.
