Not sure if this is possible, need some advice.
Right now my network consists of Mikrotiks as routers and switches. My clients are using another wireless access/point brand to get internet from me. These devices are not as advanced as a mikrotik device so I’m very limited on what I can do from the subscriber side. If I bridge the device and a customer puts a switch on their side instead of router I have no way of stopping them from using as many public DHCP ips as they want.
Is there a way that I am not aware of that my mikrotik router could detect requests coming from a particular bridged device and limit the number of IP’s it hands out? Is something like this possible? On the mac layer there must be some type of record keeping that could be used?
