limit the internet access to certain user

i have 500 user on network and i want only giving
an internet to 50 - 60 user only…
which method i can use to limit the user access to inet…??
and i want to have proxy run either…
please i need your help…

limit user to inet in here mean is to who i give the inet access
not limit the people who connect to inet…
if some user have righ to access the inet, then the user
is freely to use that inet.

You can use different methods to accomplish this scenario.
Block users with firewall, static ARP table, enable HotSpot for authorization etc.

for using firewall, i allready try and work
actually the main problem here is that
i want a proxy to cache the website.
if i use web proxy, this is not support to use
auth and every user who enter this proxy
can access inet…
when i used ip proxy, i stuck with ssl site (443)

Untuk ngelimit user :

  1. Buka winbox liat di interface, lalu buat bagian interface yang mengarah ke LAN local yang tadinya “enable” menjadi “reply only”

  2. Buka di IP lalu masuk le ARP, daftarin IP address dan MAc Address komputer mana saja yang anda akan kasi akses ke internet.

Beresss..

  1. Masalah proxy, buat saja proxy nya secara transparent, redirect semua paket data yang menuju port 80 ke port webproxy anda, jangan lupa option “transparent” di proxy di centang ya.

Tinggal arahkan gateway komputer yang ingin akses internet ke ip router mikrotik anda, kolom dns isi dns server isp anda jika anda tidak ingin menjadikan mikrotik sebagai server dns.

We for a long time have refused from Web proxy. It is not effective! I recommend to use in sum ARP and Firewall
