Hi all!!
so.. i just moved to ubuntu 9.04… and.. my WinBox just don’t run anymore…
it frezes once i clik some buton…
I use to work with ubuntu 8.10 and work fine for about 15min, that was ok to make my changes 
we all use linux here … so .. I apreciate any help… to run it…
i don’t intend to use Windows…
so anyone had or solve this?

Try CrossOver… WinBox runs great with this! (it’s based on Wine)…
But try and debug your Wine setup!

now on wine 1.2 winbox works fine! no “lags”, high speedy, no crashes…
but… i wish to know… if i can ask of course…

I really wouldn’t count on it. If you do just a rudimentary search on this forum you will see that support has rejected this many times. Instead they work on something called webfig that apparently is supposed to be a web-based version of winbox…
I run my winbox in wine without problems. It runs much better on wine than in Vista

in fact… this is the same way i use TheDude… in wine 1.2…
but…
we are in a linux ball? don’t we? and mkt is linux… is it not?
so… LinBox please! or release this web version…
but this is not a demand here… its more like a wish…

No, but we are working on a web based interface, identical to Winbox. It will be ready in RouterOS 5 beta 1
