router RB951G-2HnD
eth1 WAN
eth2 AP_1 EAP245 TPlink
eth3 AP_2 EAP225 Outdoor
I had to disconnect the EAP225. The connection was unstable.
Thx

The answer is: Yes, it’s possible.

Look at date/time.

ETH1 - WAN - what is the type of connection? does ISP makes line down for some reason?

ETH2 & ETH3 - seems to have cable connection problem

The connection type is stable Fiber Optic.

After disconnecting the EAP225, there is no more link down/up. Is it possible for one bad cable to affect all ports?

Never say “no” … change the cable and check what will happen.
On the other hand … does LAN bridge have STP enabled and APs do connect via WiFi somehow and do close a loop which STP tries to avoid?

The EAP225 Outdoor is POE

Have you got the cables in the right way around and there is a lot that can go wrong on the power pack injector block. Wont be the first POE injector to die nor the last.

Thank you for your help. The error was in a poorly connected RJ45 connector.

Wondering why jokes about an IT guy asking: “Is power cable connected?” are so popular?
