Link failover without co-location noise

Goal: To have 2 ptp links from and edge tower to the main tower. But only one of them should be powered on at the same time. If one link fails the other link powers up and data is sent over there.
Reason: If both links are running all the time, the same frequency cannot be used, increases co location noise and in case of electrical fault/lightning both devices may get burned.

The solution:
As shown in attached drawing. The config is:

  1. CCR Router on edge has a bonded interface, connected to both links. Only the primary link is powered on.
  2. CRS POE Switch uses Netwatch to ping the primary ptp link IP addresses, if it goes down, the switch powers up the second ptp link by enabling ether24. It also sends an email/telegram notification so that the tech team can come out and manually re activate the primary link.

This is my plan right now, Have not done the config yet, any thoughts on this and what may be a better way?

The above config does not seem to work out, instead I have decided to build a netwatch on the two poe switches only to power up/ power down the links accordingly.

You have to use active backup on bonding.
Netwatch must trigger swap poe on off both ports, delay enough time for both side reconnect wireless.
