link label (varible, oid, function for to?)

say i needed to link something on one map to a submap…

is there anyway to show in the label for the link from device A to Submap A what device in Submap A that link is going to?

of course non-static…It’s a wireless motorola canopy link and the only OID i could find that shows what is associated with the SM is the mac address of the associated AP… since i can dynamicly get this to change (the mac address pulled through snmp) is there anyway to possibly make this into a function (somehow tie that mac address with a [Device.Name]? etc) that could somehow return the “[Device.Name]” of where the link is going when it’s going to a submap?

I’m thinking this wouldn’t be that hard since hovering the mouse over the link show’s what it’s being linked to at the bottem of the graph that pop’s up… Is there anyway to get this to easily display in the “link label” instead of having to wait for the “popup” on mouseover?
