Hello,
I run across a strange issue which i for some reasons was not able to figure out at the first time. Here is the scenario:
I have an CRS125 Clour Router running the latest RouterOS ver.6.40.5
So I have connected two Pc’s to this router (CRS125) and both PC’s do have 1 gb NIC and both are connected to an “access” port which belongs to the same vlan, when I now run the iPerf test I got a
bandwidth of 1Gb/ps between these to pc’s, so this works just fine.
However when I now connected another Mikrotik router model RB493G also running latest RouterOS 6.40.5 to this main router CRS125 and created a “trunk” link between them then I disconnected one of the pc’s from main router and connected it to this new router RB493G to an access port then when I tested with iPerf I got only 100mb/ps instead of 1gb/ps .. so question is why ?
All these interfaces are configured to tun 10/100/1000 mb/ps..
In short picture the latest scenario as a “diagram”:
PC1 ---- RB493G ---- CRS125 ----- PC2
PC1 and PC two are connected to access ports and the link between these two router’s is an trunk link.
Any ideas ?
Thank you
Cheers
