have a server that I have installed Router OS Ver 2.9.41 with 3 ether net card
The first card connects to our backbone Internet (10.3.0.6/28)
The second card connects to our office (10.4.40.0/29)
The Third Card is for Hotspot (10.5.50.0./24)
In the office we receive Internet and also the hotspot
The problem comes in here (what am about to explain)
I have a 10m tower above my office I have put a Router board 5.3.2 with Ver 2.9.41 that has an omni directional antennae for wireless Hotspots
On the hill which is about 1Km I have put another Router board 5.3.2 with Ver 2.9.41 to cover the whole city I cannot get Internet to pass through the tower to clients and also to the hill what should I do pliz help
If I understood what you wanna achieve than here’s how u do it . !!!
let’s say you got a router with internet working well.
to connect ur tower with the device in the hill you should do as follows.
1.)install a point to point (recommended 5ghz) in the tower .. usually the routerboard with wireless card .. that will be directed to the hill ..
another router board in the hill that will have two wireless cards .. one with an antena (panel) that will be connected to the tower .. and other wireless card connected with omni that will give clients the connection.
I guess you should read the manual on how to setup all this … if u need more help lemme know …
