I am currently testing the PPPOE server in Mikrotik Router and I just needed to ask if it is possible to set the link speed that shows on the client computer that is dialing from their DUN connection? Currently it shows the speed of the lan or wireless link between the client and the router that is the connection speed. The reason I am asking is because I want to be able to show the link speed of the subscribed service for example 256kb/s or 512kb/s depending on the customer as a cosmetic setting on the windows pppoe client. Is it possible to achieve this without client side scripting? This is important because if the client is subscribed for a 512kb/s they must not see the pppoe client connect at 54mb/s that is the speed of the wireless link.
