Linksys WRT160N Wireless-N Broadband Router

Hello Mates,
i recently bought a Linksys WRT160N Wireless-N Broadband Router,
i want to use it to connect my laptop and mobile with my network.
Is it possible to attach it to network? (As shown in pic)
May any body help me to do it,or tell me how to do it?

I’m not entirely sure what you need help with. Plug a LAN port of the wireless router into your network, assign it a static IP address on your network, turn off the DHCP server. Done. This doesn’t really have anything to do with Mikrotik.

red labeled area doesn’t exist on network yet,i want to add this section,
it’s my current network design pic (with out red labeled area),all the users have there separate login and passwords,
i just want to add this router to my mikrotik network?so my client can use internet with his login/pass on his laptop/mobiles.

fewi is right, connect your linksys LAN to hub do not connect linksys WAN port and disable the dhcp server in linksys, also asign static ip of your linksys LAN.

i just want to create this session in my network.
how to configure it as my wi-fi router? can i access internet from this router on my wi-fi devices like Laptop or mobiles?

if you want your devices access login and password the mikrotik can control using hotspot.

yes i want this but how to do it?
i can use this router as wire switch/hub to connect my systems with wire but how can i use it as a wi-fi router on my network?

Are you aware that these are the actual steps?

  1. Log into wireless router
  2. Change IP address to a static one on your existing network
  3. Turn off DHCP server
  4. Set up wireless parameters however you want to
  5. Plug existing network into LAN port
  6. Done. Everyone plugging into other LAN ports or connecting

This has NOTHING to do with Mikrotik networks. If you need help configuring a Linksys router please ask in Linksys forums.
