I have dell optiplex systems acting as pppoe concentrators and routers at many of our towers, and none of the systems display the LM87 system temp values. I understand this was orginally designed for the RB200’s, but that was a few years ago, the whole point in defining the industry standard LM87 temp values was that it is supposed to be standard across all hardware platforms as to how it is accessed by the OS (as I understand).
therefore, why does it not work in any of my systems? (note, I suspect one system is overheating on me and I could REALLY use the data to confirm…)
