LMC 1200 T1 Replacement

We have some LMC 1200 T1 cards in RouterOS, but the drivers are no longer present. Whats the cheapest / best option to still handle a T1 but plug into a NIC instead. I didn’t see that Patton carried what I need, is there a small device out there that just acts as a synchronous to ethernet bridge ?

Don’t mention cheap ciscos, I already have that option, looking for something non cisco.

Thx,
Sam

Hi sam…

Have been asking for USB T1..
Can get sample for testing…

Also Rhino Equipment is 1/2 mile away from my location. (or less)

I have one of these to play with… Drivers are avail (from Rhino) I think they are “open” source…
They are inexpensive… (for T1 cards)

The USB would be cool (Hot plugable T1s)…

Lets open that can of worms again, and see what crawls out…

Craig,

We would be better off taking them an ethernet board and just make a self contained appliance for super cheap. You can get UART to ethernet for under $20. Can you ask your vendor if they are looking for partners for that type of application? I think we could make it work. How much are those USB T1s? Do they already work on certain equipment?

Sam

Yeh…

Image stream routers…

Doh !!!
