Load Balancing + VOIP

I currently have 3x 10mbps ADSL lines in a pcc configuration. This configuration has served me well and gave me somewhat of a bonding effect. I now want to add a 1mbps fibre line that I want to dedicate to voip traffic.

I had a look at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Per-Traffic_Load_Balancing and was bit concerned that I might loose that bonding effect. Would it be better to maybe add another mikrotik that routes voip traffic to the fibre line and routes all other traffic to the the pcc load balancer.

Do you want it in the balancing group ? If so add it into mangle just like the others and increment appropriately.

Then to preference your voip you’ll want to just classify the traffic (maybe port or port +destination, voip phone ips, dscp markings) what ever works for you.

Then just mark that class to go out over the static mark for the routes
