load balancing

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions about load balancing.

  1. Is the PCC load balancing CPU intensive?
What are the minimum hardware I need to balance and 2x20mbps 1x30mbps (100 Mbps at night) the connection?
RB750GL is enough to make this work, or should I get a different RouterBOARD (e.g. rb450g)?
  2. Will the SSL, HTTPS work (I read that ssl and https connections terminated during load balancing)?
  3. Will my OpenVPN connection work? I have an account with a Astrill VPN service provider. I usually connect to the UK server to watch BBC iplayer.

Thanks for help

I want to meet you, If you are capable of getting a 100 Mb line with 2x20Mb and 1x30 Mb. Amazing.

To make the load balancing, you can try the Chupaka’s style. It works fine for me in my office and many customers. Not problems with https or nothing.

Are you insulting me? Not very nice.
One of my ISP provides 30 Mbps during the day and 100Mbps at night.

Can you give me a link?

Thank you I will look for this method.

Man, not insulting, only joking : P!

The link is made from Chupaka.. it works.

So, what is the best hardware for load balancing(PCC) job!

The fastest is a X86 with lots of CPUs and 1.5 GB of RAM, later the RB1xxx series.. later a RB493G or RB450G, it depends on the traffic..

I have 2 lines of 10 Mbps with a normal 450 board.
